"Bring Us Peace, o Lord" – this is the translation of the concert title and credo. The concert, which is like a stopover towards February 16th - the day of the Act of Lithuania Independance, will feature amazing Baltic composers sacred music. Great Lithuanian performers - Vocal Ensemble "Balsai" (artistic director and conductor Egidijus Kaveckas), Vilnius Municipal Choir "Jauna Muzika" (artistic director and conductor Vaclovas Augustinas), St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra (artistic director and conductor Donatas Katkus) - as well as guest star, Latvian National Opera soloist Kristine Gailīte will perform Erikson Ešenvalds oratorio Passion and Resurrection, and Arvo Pärt, Vaclovas Augustinas, Urmas Sisask, Imants Ramiņš choral compositions.

This September was especially important for Lithuanian academic and contemporary music. A three-day conference and festival entitled “Music that Changed Time”, organised by Vykintas Baltakas and the Lithuanian Ensemble Network, were held to mark the 80th birthday of the composer Bronius Kutavičius. In addition, on the initiative of Vykintas Baltakas, a CD of music by Bronius Kutavičius is to be released in 2013 by the Belgian label Megadisc Classics.
